Eligibility for free or reduced priced school meals benefits is based on any one of these three things: - your total household income and size in the month the application is filled out, or the month before, or - your child's individual status as foster, homeless, migrant, or runaway, or - participation in an assistance program by any member of.
Paper copies of the application are available at any school office.
- Pandemic EBT Information about Pandemic EBT, or P-EBT. P-EBT is a federal program. The California Department of Social Services (CDSS), in collaboration with the California Department of Education (CDE), received approval to operate the program in response to COVID-19 related school closures.
- If the household income is reduced, you may reapply. Only one application is required per household to cover all students attending school. Breakfast is always free to all students attending Palm Beach County schools. Reduced lunch costs.40 cents. Regular lunch prices are $2.05 for elementary students and $2.30 for middle and high school students.

The online application is quick, easy, and can be found at www.ausd.net or paper copies are available at any school site office. If you have not done so already, why not take advantage of this great service everyday? When your children join us for breakfast and lunch, you can rest assured that they are eating nutritious meals– and your family can put the savings toward meals for the evenings and weekends. Students who are approved for meal benefits are never identified at school in any way– all students have an account with us, so very little actual money is exchanged on the lunch line, and no one knows which students are paying and which are receiving free or reduced-price meals.
